Visually speaking, Twoid (terrible name, but the developer is foreign so we’ll let him off) is a bit of a mess. The maker has created a sweet little shocking pink and green character, which is very nice – but shouldn’t really be beaming out at you from every menu screen. Apart from that aesthetic level on which Twoid doesn’t work, Twoid works on all the other important levels.
Underneath the slightly skanky look, Twoid delivers BIG on functionality – it manages simple support for multiple accounts and lets you switch between them quickly, supports URL-shortening, image uploads, searches and timeline Tweet loading limits to speed up launch, plus it incorporates hashtag support and filtering, and… it works.
Twoid doesn’t appear to have a web site, but its developer has set up a Twoid Facebook page, should you be a fan of his quirky aesthetic choices. You might want to set up a petition to have him redesign the “front end”.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
