For some odd reason, mobile manufacturer HTC has decided to strip a few apps out of its customised (and great) Sense Android user interface, which appears on a few HTC phones, and offer them up individually on the Android Market for users of the HTC Hero and DROID Eris Google phones to have.
Sounds like a good idea, until…
…until you see HTC has released a dice-rolling app and a tips calculator, the latter of which is one of the most duplicated and useless apps on the Android Market. Honestly. Such a terrible selection.
Plus HTC has put out “Today in History” which may come in handy for dull people who want to always have some tedious trivia to hand, and Battery – your standard Android battery management tool. HTC, you have just wasted lots and lots of your time and effort.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
