Now this is the sort of thing Android desperately needs more of. Google’s very own Android Market portal is utterly rubbish, only listing a handful of current apps – not much use when there’s around 20,000 Android apps out there.
Third-party sites like AndroidZoom and Androlib do a good job of letting us trawl through the Android Market, and now there’s Mplayit – which has decided to integrate its Android Arcade Market search tool with Facebook.
We have no idea why they’ve chosen to integrate it with Facebook, but, as long as they’re offering a full and constantly updated listing of the Android Market’s content, we’re grateful.
The service’s “Happening Now” tab does indeed update LIVE as the Android Market is changed and browsed. Very nice. And Mplayit doesn’t stick a logo on its app screenshots, which makes them better for people like us to steal.
And this is useful. Great work, Mplayit. *ADDS BOOKMARK*

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
