UK gadget site Pocket Lint has today uploaded a review of the Acer Aspire One D250 – a “netbook” enlivened by the fact it dual-boots both Google Android and Windows 7 Starter Edition, letting you aimlessly browse the Android Market on a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 screen.
But… why would you really want to do that? Look at all that empty space.
The verdict? PL has gone with a 7/10 which seems rather generous, given the pasting the D250′s slow performance (Intel Atom processors don’t deserve ANY of the praise they get) and the staggeringly average three-hour battery life they claim the machine offers.
Android’s nice and everything, but we shudder in terror at the thought of having to use it as a “main” OS.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
