APP REVIEW: wpToGo

I’m writing this update using wpToGo, the WordPress App for Android. It logged in, downloaded my recent posts for editing and now – this!

I’ll try uploading a photo as well. It’ll have to be something I took with the camera… there was an option to automatically centre the image, so it’ll look nice.

Don’t think I’ll do this again, but it’s nice to know I can blog for help if my PC explodes and traps me in the rubble.

Right. Time to find a SFW photo to test the image uploader..

POST-REVIEW SUMMARY ADDED ON DESKTOP PC:
Wow! That was a liberating experience. It worked. There were no error messages, crashes, odd pauses or anything – and it even synched with the WordPress list of categories. Shame you can’t exert a little more control over the image placement, but that’s just being picky – wpToGo is the single most impressive Android App I’ve used to far on this little journey into Google’s smartphone world.

I’ll have to work out how to give wpToGo five stars on the Market and give it five stars on the Market.
