A new version of HTC’s HTC Sync went up on the internet here a couple of days ago, and has been updated to include support for Windows 7. It’s also nice that HTC’s including the Magic, Hero and Tattoo drivers in the same package nowadays, as previously there was a whole heap of variant versions of HTC Sync floating about for each handset.
We in fact spent an EXTREMELY frustrating evening over Christmas trying to get the HTC Hero version to synch with our HTC Magic. That was fun.
So there you go. Good to see HTC is still regularly rolling out updates and keeping everyone in the loop. Let’s hope this dedication to keeping everyone happy continues in the shape of Android 2.1 updates for us Magic and Tattoo owners.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ January 15, 2010I’ve already downloaded the update, but am still not happy with it. On my XP SP3 machine the processes “HTCVBTServer.exe with FsynSrvStarter.exe” and “epmworker.exe with dbgout.exe” still run constantly and eat up CPU time and hard disk space. Why, Why, Why??? I wish this problem would solved.
