UK importers of Google’s Nexus One have found an “Amazon MP3″ icon on their flashy new telephones, allowing them to buy, in our native British pounds and pence, music direct from Amazon’s digital music shopping servers.
The music-buying service has been available in the US for some time – now we get the chance to give those major corporations some money. Lucky us.
According to The Telegraph, the service is yet to be officially announced for the UK market by Google or Amazon, but importers of the Nexus One have been able to buy tunes direct, from Amazon, thanks to the built-in Android 2.1 feature. So you might want to keep an eye on Amazon’s well-read Daily Deals Twitter profile.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
