We have nothing against the idea of GirlTimer, in fact we LOVE the idea of GirlTimer, in which a lovely Asian lady holds up a sign indicating the time. It’s even nicer-looking than the HTC SENSE flip clock!
However, GirlTimer is merely a rip-off of the very famous Bijin-Tokei lady clock, and we can’t bring ourselves to endorse apps that are clones. Where’s the creativity in copying someone else’s idea, eh?
There are two versions of GirlTimer on the Android Market – tagged either (CW) or (TN), depending on if you like your clock-holders in Chinese of Taiwanese lady format.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ February 1, 2010Hello, you blame the wrong man.
GirlTimer (on Android) is not rip off, but the timer’s source providers do take the idea from Bijin-Tokei lady clock… and I have no relation with them except I wrote this app for fun and as the tech evaluation.
Since the sources are there (yes, you could call them Bijin-Tokei-like), and comes from several different providers, I wrote this app as a mashup like firefox extension. I’ve also add the credit for those providers while you download this app. So please contact them if you feel bad about their behavior, instead of blaming the 3rd-party developer :)
PS: It’s (TW) or (CN) instead of (CW) or (TN)
