Here’s a video of a very smart and confident young man called Adrian from Adobe Systems, giving us all a look at the Flash Player 10.1 support it’s bringing across to Google’s new Android phone. He shows off a rubbish looking game, then moves on to concentrate on how well the phone displays internet advertising. Great. Shit games and adverts. Can’t wait.
The presentation’s not very exciting, but you do get plenty of long, lingering looks at the Nexus One’s stunning OLED screen. And it is one hell of a pretty screen.
Supporting Flash is currently a bit of a problem for Google – its otherwise superb Chrome browser often crashes when loading Flash sites, even popular ones like YouTube, so it’s good to see Adobe stepping up and embracing future platforms in public like this.
Make it work, Adrian. We are counting on you, and also planning on buying a shirt like yours as it is also very nice.
