Nexus One to come to other UK networks – T-Mobile and 3 both after it

While Vodafone is still celebrating bagging the Nexus in the UK and Europe and putting the whole, sorry iPhone mess behind it, other UK operators are planning to swoop for the Nexus – with both 3 and T-Mobile making plans to stock Google’s Android “superphone”.

Here’s what both networks had to say on the matter…

“We are in talks with Google and hope to have something to announce soon” – T-Mobile

“It’s a great Internet phone and we expect plenty of people to import it to the UK. We see this as a natural platform for our unique Skype, Windows Live Messenger and Spotify offers” – 3

And here she is, the one everyone wants…

Obviously Google’s direct-selling approach means the market will soon be flooded with unlocked Nexus phones and poor old eBay will soon be swamped with the things, but what we’d really like to see is more operators carrying the phone in the UK on proper contracts with a subsidised tariff – that’s how things tend to work in the UK*.
