Vopium International Caller integrates instant messaging, offers free VOIP calls until Feb 28

Here’s a bizarre bit of Android-related Winter Olympics publicity, courtesy of VOIP/messaging/international calling app maker Vopium, which has decided to promote its instant messaging and voice chat app by offering FREE mobile and landline calls via the app for the duration of the Vancouver event.

Here’s the news, straight from Vopium’s VOIP-enabled mouth:

“Just wanted to share a bit of news that Vopium a Copenhagen based company that drives down the cost of international mobile phone calls – has released a new version of the its app for Android that integrates IM. The app offers free calls to Skype, Gtalk and other Vopium users, while chats on Skype, MSN, Yahoo! Google Talk, AIM, ICQ and MSN is also available with support for Twitter. The IM feature is now available for other platforms as well i.e. iPhone, BlackBerry, iPod & Windows Mobile.

Moreover, recently Vopium has introduced a special promotion for Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. All calls may it be landline for mobile will be free till February 28th, the last day of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. More details are available at our blog.

  1. don’t you know that how cellphone and prepared card important to us, for me 99%, why? because with out a communication I think I can’t leave in this planet, because communication really help us to connect around the world, and you know there are a lot of free calls we can use around the world.
