As it has been advertise as a Droid and without limite .... So if we had a free bootloader we could fix and update our phone without waiting for Motorola to do/want so (How long would Moto continue to provide update fo the phone ... ) Best Regards PS: There is numerous bugs that could be fix or enhanced by the community and Motorola does not provide the update in the same schedule depending on were you live (Latin America still has only the stock 2.0 for ex.)
