Final version of Sweet Dreams time/power/connectivity app arrives on Android Market

We’ve just received a very polite little email from Inizziativa Networks, informing us that it’s finished polishing up its Sweet Dreams Android app and the new, final version of the tool has now “gone live” on the Android Market today.

You may remember that the app was the overall winner of the 2nd Google Android Developer Challenge, with Google impressed by the app’s use of location, time and even movement to activate power-saving or call-blocking features.

This comes at a good time for us personally, as for the last few nights we’ve been experimenting with putting out HTC Magic into “Airplane Mode” before bed, to stop it eating so much battery overnight.

Try it out – you can get through a whole eight hours using only two or three percent of battery.

  1. Seeing as I can’t find it in the market, I guess this is another app that needs a version of Android greater than 1.5.

    Damn you, HTC!

  2. Grrr.. same here
