US mobile operator Verizon has been sending out promotional packages designed to WHIP UP some sort of FRENZY over its upcoming DEVOUR “entry level” Android phone to its retail buddies – showing a DROID-style QWERTY slider with a keyboard featuring crowd-pleasingly well-spaced-out keys.
There’s not a huge amount more to be learned from the photo, to be honest, although what we refer to as the “screen bit” would appear to be markedly thinner than that of the DROID / MILESTONE, plus there’s an optical sensor in place of “last-gen” Android phone trackball/joypad technology.
Looks like the DEVOUR is going to me more of an “affordable” MOR consumer phone than a high-end flagship like the DROID. Photo taken by Android Central.
