Airplane AutoSwitch is a very, very non-exciting app, but one that could save your life in a recharge-critical scenario. Airplane AutoSwitch has only the one option screen – from where you set a start and stop time for your phone’s Airplane Mode feature, killing all wireless connections and saving you battery while you sleep.
It means you can make it through a whole night using only one or two percent of battery, and you won’t be woken up by text messages or sobbing insane ex-partners at 3.15am.
Sure, there are many more complex, feature-packed options available for doing all this sort of stuff based on time and your location, but we like to keep it simple.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ March 15, 2010It looks like a great app…
I use to set my phone in airplane mode while asleep.
But whin I used this app my Alarm didn’t work! (klaxon-alarm).
So uninstalled it right away, but I still think it’s a nice to have app.
