We weren’t even the slightest bit interested in the Android tablet “scene” – until the Enso ZenPad arrived. Promising full Android (1.6) power on a 5″ 800 x 480 screen (full spec here) for a staggering price of only $155, it’s a quite superb way to get yourself into Google’s OS on the cheap.
Better still, Enso is offering GLOBAL delivery for only $25, meaning you could have one, like, next week. As long as you live somewhere with a functional postal service.
There are two hardware configurations on sale – one for $155, plus the same model but with a GPS receiver inside the case for $180. Even though the exchange rate has plummeted of late, that’s still a damn fine price for a nice-looking piece of kit. If you want to make phone calls on the thing, you’ll need to pick up the optional 3G USB dongle.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
