VIDEO: Android Hackathon, Mountain View, March 13

Do you want to see whole room full of Android nerds, all gleefully outlining their plans for possible future Android apps and developments? Or is that a bit to ‘close to home’? Regardless, it looks like everyone at the March ‘Hackathon’ had fun and at the very least got to spend a happy few hours comparing laptops.

Here’s how Google described the event:

“Attendees, which include developers, web developers, UI designers, and testers, come together over a short time in an informal environment to build new Android applications. Development projects will include both solo and team efforts. We encourage attendees to team up, based on expertise, to work in ad-hoc project development teams. All attendees should be prepared to work on an application project during the event”

And here’s the video. No idea-thievery, please:

This particular Android Hackathon took place on March 13, and prize winners were announced during a separate Android meet on March 17 – read all about that and find some of the developers featured in the above clip here.
