Brace yourselves, people of Luxembourg. There’s going to be tears, fighting, stock shortages and all sort of contract chaos in your country next week, when the HTC Desire arrives over there.
News of the Luxembourg Desire launch comes from the XDA-Developers forum, where user Zoidinger posted the following:
“Good news coming here from Luxembourg. The HTC Desire will be available next week for 409€. It will be unbranded an unlocked from LuxGSM”
And looky here, we managed to find the Desire listed on LuxGSM’s web site using only our extremely poor GCSE French:
409 euros is a good price. That’s about 360 of our more familiar British Pounds at today’s exchange rate, so if any of you angry T-Mobile customers are still looking for one perhaps a ‘Smartphone Cruise’ to mainland Europe might be in order?

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
