Can you guess what Make It Default Browser does?
Yes, we suspect you probably can – it makes Opera the default browser on your Android phone, if you were so impressed by Opera Mini 5 that you want to use the over-complicated, oddly-rendering browser as your Android default web reader instead of the standard Android one.
Simply download the tool, then the next time you open a web link you’ll be asked if you want to use Opera Mini 5 to do that from now on. You’d think this sort of feature would be standard, wouldn’t you?

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ April 27, 2010Thanks. I love Opera browser, and it does not render “oddly” for me (no more than the webkit one), so it sounds like you were doing something wrong, or expecting too much.
for 99% of the time I use Opera on my Hero, so this app is VERY handy.

Well, it’s great that the Android platform can accommodate a good variety of preferences.
I guess.
