OK, so the VH1 To Go app doesn’t look like it offers much more than a generically-styled RSS feed of the latest content from the music channel’s mobile web RSS feeds, but we’re still rather happy to see a company the size of MTV bringing its content – and COMMERCIAL MIGHT – to Android.
That’s got to be a good sign, right? Here’s the official description:
“Get your VH1 fix wherever you are, with VH1 To Go! Watch video and browse photos from all the current VH1 shows, music events and hits from the past. And, get exclusive first looks at upcoming episodes and new series by checking out the Sneak Peeks category. The app is updated daily with fresh content”
And here are the screenshots:
The app requires Android 1.6 or above to run, and it’s not currently showing up on an Android Market search from our UK account, so may actually be a US-only app at the moment. We should’ve checked that before writing the bloody update…

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
