Now this is more like it. The Motorola MILESTONE XT720 smooths the angular edges of the original MILESTONE and bins its QWERTY keyboard to give us a much more HTC-like and desirable piece of kit. It’s basically the phone we once knew as the MOTOROI officialised for the Western world.
Coming with Android 2.1 and an 8megapixel camera, the XT720 is a high-end device that also packs in a Xenon flash, 10x digital zoom and 720p HD video recording options, all displaying on the phone’s 3.7″ 480 x 854 display. We are liking the sound and look of this:
And there’s an HDMI output socket – and an HDMI cable in the box – so you can stick it right into your HDTV and watch whatever you happened to film yourself doing most recently in HD. It even has a pretty back, like a 1980s disc camera:

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
