Samsung has dated its Galaxy Beam Android phone, with the 3.7″ Android 2.1 handset scheduled to launch in Asia in July. The name “Beam” is for once a very appropriate choice by Samsung, as the phone includes a PICO projector, enabling users to broadcast videos on walls, ceilings and… anywhere.
As well as the PICO, you get an 8megapixel camera with HD recording and a front-facing extra cam for video calling, plus 802.11n wi-fi. We think it’s safe to say Samsung is currently ON FIRE when it comes to Android phones.
According to Engadget, the Samsung Beam launches in Singapore this July.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
