Orange puts the LG Optimus up for order – “free” from £20 per month

UK network Orange has finally launched that LG Optimus Android phone it’s been teasing us with for months, with the entry level Android phone now available direct through the network on numerous contracts.

For demonstration purposes, we’ve put the Optimus in our shopping basket with Orange’s Dolphin 25 tariff, which gives you 300 minutes and 500MB of “internet” for a decent £22.50 per month – along with the phone itself for “free”.

And if you’re anti-social and would like to pay a little less, the LG Optimus is also available on a Dolphin 20 tariff with only 100 minutes – for £20 per month. It’s got a 3″ screen. It’d do the job.
