Crikey, this is a bit of a bargain. As well as “ranging” the LG Optimus today, UK mobile network Orange has also launched the Samsung Galaxy Apollo – and says it will do you one on a PAYG contract for a rather incredible £189 upfront fee.
For a 3.2″ Android phone from a company as solid as Samsung, that’s one hell of a deal.
Although… The Apollo is currently showing as “out of stock” when you try to buy one on PAYG tonight. CURSES. If you want an Apollo on a standard contract, the options are the same as with Orange’s LG Optimus – starting at £20 per month with a “free” phone.
That’s pretty good as well. One of these days we’re going to buy one of these phones, rather than just pricing them up for fun all evening. Sorry to keep leading you on like this, Orange.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
