It looks like we’re finally starting to see a bit of leveling out in HTC Desire demand, with Desire MANIA subsiding a little – and the third-party operators starting to offer the handset on some newer, more respectably-priced packages.
For example – if you take up a 24 month Vodafone contract through Carphone Warehouse, you can have an HTC Desire for “free” on a £25 per month tariff. That’s with unlimited SMS messages and 300 minutes of talking time, which ought to do for all but the most sociable of people.
Here’s the visual proof:
And look at that – an HTC Desire deal that’s actually IN STOCK right now. And if you use more than 300 minutes, you are, to be frank, talking too much…

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ June 20, 2010I’ve got the Desire on T mobile with unlimited internet, unlimited texts, 300 mins for £25 and it’s on 18 months. It was through a website but after they messed it up T Mobile took responsibilty for the contract.

/ June 20, 2010You can get a Desire for free & £25pm on an 18 month contract if you search the “comparison” websites. My contract expires in 4 days and I’ll be seeing if I can get a renewal to match this.
4 Days and counting!!!

/ June 20, 2010Not a new deal. This is the same deal I got my Desire on a few month ago, on Vodafone, through Carphone Warehouse. You need to also pay £5 for the 500Mb data add-on.
