Online mobile retailer Expansys will be the first to bring the Huawei S7 Android Tablet to market, with the 7″ tablet being sold exclusively through the shop.
For your £299 you get the 7″, 800 x 480 tablet that’s powered by Android 2.1, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon running at 768MHz taking care of the business inside. All the usual Android hardware features are onboard too – wi-fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2megapixel camera plus it even supports 3G connectivity, so bung in a SIM card and it’ll work anywhere you can get a signal.
Not bad. If any of you lot are prepared to gamble £299 on a not-yet-reviewed Huawei product, do let us know how you get on with it. Expansys says the S7 will be available within the next 10 days.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ June 23, 2010Wait – £300 for something that has a slower processor, less RAM and a worse camera than my HTC Desire? And it comes with *no* internal memory, so you have to buy a MicroSD card on top… There may be an iPad-beating Android tablet in the mix, but this certainly isn’t it.
