Huawei S7 Android Tablet hits UK – for £299

Online mobile retailer Expansys will be the first to bring the Huawei S7 Android Tablet to market, with the 7″ tablet being sold exclusively through the shop.

For your £299 you get the 7″, 800 x 480 tablet that’s powered by Android 2.1, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon running at 768MHz taking care of the business inside. All the usual Android hardware features are onboard too – wi-fi, Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2megapixel camera plus it even supports 3G connectivity, so bung in a SIM card and it’ll work anywhere you can get a signal.

  1. Wait – £300 for something that has a slower processor, less RAM and a worse camera than my HTC Desire? And it comes with *no* internal memory, so you have to buy a MicroSD card on top… There may be an iPad-beating Android tablet in the mix, but this certainly isn’t it.
