So we had a bit of a false start on the release of the Galaxy S which was delayed by a week or so – but it’s now on sale, in stock, and you’re able to actually, literally BUY the thing through Vodafone in the UK. And the same goes for the HTC Wildfire.
So if you’re after something flashy or something from the cheaper end of the Android tariff charts, go knock yourselves out.
The Wildfire starts at £20 per month with a “free” phone, while Vodafone’s Galaxy S is a bit more of a luxury purchase – that one starts at £25 per month with a £200 upfront fee for the handset. But remember Vodafone has an exclusive on the 16GB memory version.
Other operators are available.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
