An app designed to help Lithuanian Android owners pay their parking fees by premium SMS message, we think. It’s quite a clever idea, to be fair – it would appear Lithuanian parking meters are rather more ‘smart’ than ours.
Here’s the description:
“Parking payment for Lithuania. Available in Lithuanian and English language (change in settings), supporting Vilnius, Kaunas, Klaipeda, Trakai.”
It’s a shame Parking Lithuania also supports English language menus, else it’d be even more niche. Still pretty niche, though.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ August 8, 2010Right, this app helps us pay for parking fee :). And it works perfect, at least in Vilnius.

/ November 19, 2010It was a joke, Zoltan. If it wasn’t in English it’d be even more “niche” as its appeal would be further limited.
And from there the comedy arises.
