T-Mobile UK is now taking orders for the popular Samsung Galaxy S Android phone, with the new handset coming in on some rather top-heavy price plans. The network suggests you pay £35 per month for a “free” Galaxy S on a 24-month contract – which would give you 1200 minutes and “unlimited” internet were you to take it on.
We’ll pass on that one for the moment, nice as the Galaxy S is.

There’s an absolutely mad list of alternative T-Mo tariffs with a huge range of differing upfront fees, if you want to get that monthly cost down a little…
Check out the full range of tariffs here. If you fancy only paying £10 a month you can – but that’ll come with a huge £305 upfront fee for the phone and you’ll be on a 24-month tariff.
Horses for courses and all that. Don’t judge people on their tariff choices.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ July 8, 2010Oh, the pain of having a free upgrade hanging over your head. I really like the look of the Galaxy S, but if I get one you can guarantee the new 4.2 inch HTC Awesomeness will be announced the following day.

/ July 8, 2010tim, apparently the HTC Ace has been leaked and it has a 4.3″ screen with dual core snapdragon. You might want to keep an eye out for this.

/ July 8, 2010I’m thinking that buying a Nexus in one go is the best move. If only some sort of global crisis would happen to bring the £/$ exchange rate back to where it was a few years ago…
