Nexus One direct-sales dream nearly over – Google not ordering any more phones

If you’ve been sitting on the fence regarding buying a Nexus One direct from Google, you’d better make your mind up and act fast – Google has said its final shipment of the Android phone has arrived from the HTC factory. And it won’t be getting any more.

Here’s how Google just announced the imminent demise of the Nexus through its direct channel:

Update: Nexus One changes in availability

Earlier this year, we announced that we will be closing the Nexus One web store. This week we received our last shipment of Nexus One phones. Once we sell these devices, the Nexus One will no longer be available online from Google. Customer support will still be available for current Nexus One customers. And Nexus One will continue to be sold by partners including Vodafone in Europe, KT in Korea, and possibly others based on local market conditions.

To ensure our developers have access to a phone with the latest Android OS, Google will be offering the Nexus One through a partner for sale to registered developers. Visit the Android Market Publisher site and log into your developer account to purchase a Nexus One.

But it’ll still be available through the networks – for the time being.

don’t bother reading this over hyped trash & I suggest you just report facts. “only” Google have stopped selling it, & concidering everyone say they haven’t sold many that way & vodafone and the like would have sold more then surely this wont make a lot of difference. THE NEXUS ONE IS STILL AVAILABLE. No please cut the Cr.p & Just tell us the facts.
