LG has been promoting its LG Optimus like mad recently, advertising it on billboards, TV and everywhere – but it’s been a rather hard phone to get hold of. Until now.
Vodafone’s quietly launched the thing on monthly contracts, if you’re in the market for something middle-of-the-road, with the Optimus arriving on a range of contracts starting with one offering the Android phone for “free” on a £20 monthly tariff.
Doubt there’ll be any stock shortages on this one, so take your time weighing up the tariffs. “In stock” – that’s a possible new low-level insult. As in “This phone is well and truly in stock at all major retailers.”

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
