Vodafone juggles its HTC Wildfire prices – “free” phone on 12 month, £25 deal

Vodafone’s doing one of its odd little online deals again, this time trying to do a bit of trickery with the “Android lite” HTC Wildfire pricing structure.

In return for signing an unusually short 12 month contract, Vodafone will give you a Wildfire for “free” along with 600 minutes of calling time, unlimited texts but, in a possible deal-breaker for many, only its 500MB data allowance.

Still, that’s a lot of talktime on a 12 month contract. And you get one of these in the post like it’s your birthday:

It’s being pitched at a “Twitter exclusive” deal and is limited in numbers, so if you want this bundle read about it on the Vodafone forum and jump through their hoops. You basically have to tweet a message and say hello through the @VodafoneUKdeals account. Nothing too demanding.

Coincidentally, we’ve had a man reviewing the HTC Wildfire for the site – that’ll go up today. He took screenshots and everything.

  1. Have you not seen the T-Mobile deal? Free Wildfire, 600 mins, unlimited texts AND unlimited internet, only £20.00/month over 2 years. Cracking deal, but can be even better through 3rd party sites like buymobilephones.net if you can cope with the redemption method. Will be getting one for my daughter in the next couple of weeks, just hope its not better than my Milestone!
