Dell’s new Mobile Applications Store contains a rather strange curated collection of Android apps, along with other apps compatible with BlackBerry, WebOS, Symbian and Windows Mobile devices.
The Dell offering is powered by Pocketgear, a long-running alternate source of mobile apps for all formats. Everything on the portal seems to be of the money-costing, paid-for kind, but it does at least recognise the HTC Magic – and apps can be purchased through PayPal.
But we can’t imagine anyone will ever go there. Why would you? Link via Into Mobile and Distimo.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
