UPDATE: FroYo update for T-Mobile HTC Desire "with Google to be approved"

We’ve just received a little update on the status of the Android 2.2 upgrade for branded UK HTC Desires today, with T-Mobile currently telling its users that the long-awaited FroYo update is currently sitting with Google for approval.

So if you’re waiting for your T-Mo Desire to ping you about an update, it shouldn’t be long. T-Mobile’s finished doing whatever that thing it wanted to do with it is.
