According to our retail chums at Expansys, the unlocked, SIM-free versions of the HTC Desire Z and HTC Desire HD will be arriving on October 12, with both phones now up for pre-ordering via the company’s shop.
That’s 20 days away. Although Sundays actually count as three days when you’re waiting for a new phone to arrive in the post, so it’ll feel more like 26 days.
Also, Expansys’ SIM-free price of the Desire Z has had a fiver shaved off it since we last looked – that could now be yours, unlocked and unbranded, for £449.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ September 22, 2010Nice. I’m really hoping T-Mobile will stock Desire Z as I have been on rolling contract for months now. And their biggest disadvantage – poor signal should soon be a thing of the past.

A result of the merger with Orange. 2G very soon, plans for 3G in more distant future.
