In an announcement that seems to go against the very LAWS OF PHYSICS, Android-powering chip maker Qualcomm has revealed its plans for the next-generation of high-end smartphone processors.
The MSM8960 is built using a 28nm process, which results in an astonishing claim of a 75% drop in power consumption, along with a 4-5x increase in performance when compared to the original Snapdragon. Presumably you don’t get both at the same time.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
