An Android spy shot DOUBLE WHAMMY has emerged today, with mobile tech blog XDA managing to obtain a few pictures of the still unannounced Samsung Nexus S – running the “Gingerbread” Android 2.3 build of the OS.
This is the future. It looks quite similar to the present.
The site also claims to have extracted the final tech specs of the Nexus S from its source, with the highlight of the (suspiciously vague) projections being 1GB or more of internal RAM.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ November 25, 2010That’s nice and I will be happy when my Nexus ONE will receive Gingerbread, even if nobody knows anything about it but the black notification bar. I’m sure most of us will be disappointed by it, it will not be a major step like from Eclair to Froyo.
But: the Nexus S looks cheap, plastic-y and crappy with its rounded edges. The Galaxy S2 looks much better and more adorable.
