Evernote for Android updated – now with to-do lists and “faster” sync

The splendid Evernote Android app has been updated once again, with version 2.0 now replaced by v2.5 on the Android Market. The most important addition found in the update is support for “to-do” checkboxes at long last, one of the features that Windows and Mac users have had for quite some time.

Evernote is particularly proud of its redesigned search feature, which lets users search their clippings by tags, location, date saved and much more, also letting users save their search criteria for future use. This is it:

If you can use checkboxes to check off notes, it would be nice to have that feature explained or illustrated. I just downloaded 2.5 and it’s not at all clear to me. Notes look just like they always did.
