Hexage, one of the earliest and most successful publishers of games on Android, has announced that the latest updates of its Android titles now incorporate “Facebook Open Graph” social features.
The result is a collection of personalised ranking and progress tools, a bit like the popular OpenFeint system. Here’s how it works, according to Hexage:
All our Android games have been updated with a new set of social features based on Facebook Open Graph.
- Facebook Leaderboard – No more anonymous leaderboards with unbeatable scores. Make it personal and compete with the people you know.
- Share your progress on Facebook – Finished the game? Halfway-through or just about to begin? Post your in-game progress to your Facebook wall with themed messages that vary as you continue through the game.
- Invite your friends – You can recommend the game to the friends who don’t yet own it. You can also challenge the friends who already play the game.
- Single Sign-On – Log into your Facebook profile once using the official Facebook app and you’re automatically logged in all Hexage games.
You can head to Android Market and update your Hexage game now.
Also, as of today, a special New Year sale sees 50% hacked off the Android market prices of all Hexage’s Android games. Which means the likes of Buka, Radiant, Everlands and Evac for LESS MONEY.
Buka, for example, is now 60p for the SD version or 90p for the HD option. The sale lasts all weekend.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
