William Hill has released a version of its Sportsbook bet-placing app for Android, letting users happily fritter away their remaining amounts of money betting on horse races and obscure Spanish football league matches during work time.
Here’s the app’s description:
Download the William Hill Sportsbook, optimised for Android, for a complete mobile gambling experience. As you’d expect from William Hill there’s a huge range of markets, including football, dog and horse racing, with odds and betting available 24/7. You can also bet on In-Play markets plus deposit and withdraw funds.”
And a look at it:
Presumably because it’s to do with gambling and gambling is on Google’s VERY BAD THINGS LIST, the app isn’t on the Android Market. You can only get it by heading to William Hill’s web site on your phone and letting it redirect you to the right place, or download it via GetJar.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ June 2, 2011I used to use the William Hill app until I realised that if you place a bet of £1 or more on a horse race using the Ladbrokes Android app you can also watch the horse race for free – Here is an article that explains the Labrokes Horse Racing App
The ladbrokes apps is very similar, must be developed by the same company.
