Mobile news site PocketNow has secured an EARTH-SHATTERING trio of exclusives today, with rendered images of three possible new HTC Android phones currently up on the site.
First up is the prettiest and largest one of the leaked new HTC phones, which appears to be a more rounded, streamlined update of the Nexus One design – albeit without an optical or analogue directional input.
Nice. It’s a bit of a shame that capacitive buttons seems to be the norm these days, as we do prefer an actual physical button to press. You can do things in your pockets with physical buttons.
The site also has this image, which has a more mid-range look to it. The new take on the HTC Wildfire at the cheaper end of the spectrum?
And finally, the third unannounced HTC handset is this one. It’s pretty big on bezel, so will presumably be the extreme “entry level” option. Hopefully someone in the know will be along with some model names – if not we’ll have to wait until February’s Mobile World Congress to see if these really are HTC’s next new smartphones.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ January 20, 2011Er… they look extremely dull and generic. HTC had better have something a bit more impressive than that, else it’s going to get blown all the way back to Taiwan.

/ January 20, 2011They do seem to have a few too many “design elements” in common with existing phones. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a bit of a fake. We’ll see.
