Yet another Sony Ericsson phone leaked – the Android-powered “Vivaz 2″ or “Halon” or “MT15i”

We now have the extremely weird situation where THREE unannounced forthcoming Android phones from Sony Ericsson have been leaked, photographed and comprehensively revealed online. There’s the “PlayStation Phone” that’s everywhere, the little 3″ update of the X10 Mini series and now this – which Mobile Review says Sony Ericsson may end up calling the “Vivaz 2″.

Powered by Android 2.3 with a 4″ 480×854 screen, the Vivaz 2 gets a very good write up, with the previewer liking the fast hardware and Sony Ericsson’s refreshed take on its user interface customisations.

It runs the Qualcomm MSM7630 at 1GHz with the Adreno 205 GPU. The guy at Mobile Review needs to take better photographs. Expect to see the “Vivaz 2″ or whatever it eventually gets named officially announced at Mobile World Congress this Feb. Link via Engadget.

  1. Interesting. The original Vivaz series were kinda let down by the rubbish software, so to see the camera-centric hardware with Android running inside will be intriguing to me, at least.

  2. This looks a more impressive phone than the earlier sony models, I’ll be sure to put it to it’s test with my unlimited internet sim from http://www.giffgaff-sims.co.uk/bestsimdeal.html
