There’s a pretty decent deal going on over at Dial-a-Phone at the moment, where you’re able to pick up a “free” HTC Desire Z Android phone connected via O2 for £20.42 per month – and it’s only an 18 month contract, too.
That’s a total cost of £367.56 over the 18 months, which is cheaper than buying the phone unlocked. You also get 100 minutes of talktime on the O2 SIM card plus unlimited text messages…
…although there’s no data plan included. But then for £20.42 a month you could happily bin the O2 SIM, unlock it and whack in your own. Just remember to cancel the helpline and insurance.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
