If you fall within the HTC Wildfire / Three UK mobile phone ownership demographic today is going to be a memorable day – the network has just launched its Android 2.2 “FroYo” update for the little HTC Android phone.
Three UK tweeted the news and we’ve just had an email from an unbelievably excited reader in Ireland who’s received the update. So it’s a definite goer. 100% confirmed. Live. Out now.
Check for updates. Check for updates again. Check for updates again. You know the drill.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

/ February 1, 2011I updated mine yesterday (day of release) and I must say that I’m a bit disappointed. The part of the update I was looking forward to was the upgade to the viseo camera, which should now be 720p HD. This is not true! It’s not just an error with my Wildfire either as there are others I found on Twitter with the same let down. One Tweeter uploaded a video to YouTube straight away doing a live review. He too was very disappointed.
All in all, alot of hype over nothing.
