LG has revealed that its “Honeycomb” tablet known and sold in the US as the T-Mobile G-Slate will be coming to Europe, with the name of the 8.9″ Android tablet altered to the rather simple Optimus Pad.
According to a Korean news piece, LG will be showing off the Optimus Pad and its Android 3.0 operating system at Mobile World Congress, which will see an AVALANCHE of Android phones and tablets announced in ten days time.
Which should knock an additional 15% off the price of a Galaxy Tab. Link via AC.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
