Tech site TechCrunch has lifted the lid on INQ’s latest attempt at attacking the smartphone world. It’s a very, very heavily skinned Android phone themed around easy Facebook access, which it’s calling the INQ Cloud Touch.
The user interface is what they’re calling a “Facebook wrapper” which sees many of the key functions of the Android Facebook app expanded into the Home screen. It’s a bit mad.
There’s a video of it in action over on TechCrunch, along with news that a QWERTY version will also be available. It’s not aimed at the likes of us, so don’t be too harsh. It’s a mum phone. We ought to add “mum phones” as a new category. Pic via Phandroid.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
