There’s been another report about HTC’s plans to launch a phone that tightly integrates Facebook. The UK’s Financial Times has weighed in on the matter, claiming a new HTC phone will come with – brace yourselves! – a dedicated Facebook button.
It’ll be one of HTC’s “main pushes” for 2011, according to the FT’s source. Here’s another quote, taken via Yahoo’s FT feed:
“HTC’s handset will have a dedicated button that takes users straight to Facebook, according to people familiar with the device”
Once again, as with the INQ Cloud Touch, this won’t technically be a “Facebook Phone” endorsed by Facebook – just a phone that integrates Facebook better and more deeply than others.
That’s our HTC Desire running the Facebook app again. Nothing to do with any of the above.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
