Chinese manufacturer ZTE, of Orange San Francisco fame, has revealed its latest Android phone – the ZTE Skate. It’s very much along the lines of a sequel to the popular San Francisco in design terms, offering a 4.3″ screen along with Android 2.3 onboard from launch in a similar form factor.
You also get a 5megapixel camera, along with an 800MHz processor of unknown make. Probably for about one fifth the price of the new LGs and Samsungs.
The ZTE Skate is set to launch in May, presumably actually under the ZTE name this time rather than getting the rebrand treatment. Imagine this for, say, £149 or thereabouts. Go, Team ZTE! We’ve always liked you more than Huawei.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
