We do love Google’s daily activations stats. Back in June of 2010 Google was seeing 160,000 new Android phones bought and activated every day. Then it rose to 200,000 in August, before hitting the majestic 300,000 in December.
WELL HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS because speaking at Mobile World Congress today, Google’s Eric Schmidt told attendees it’s now up to 350,000. That’s 350,000 new Android phones being sold and registered every single day. That’s more telephones than it’s possible to imagine.
I can imagine about 150 telephones, before they all start blurring into one. How many phones can you imagine? Link via the WSJ.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.
