The gradual roll out of Sony Ericsson’s Android 2.1 update for its Xperia X10 range is very nearly finished, with Vodafone the latest (and last-est) network to launch the update for the miniature Android phones.
The upgrade started to appear last week, and seems to be gradually progressing onto the phones of many users without issue – despite the inclusion of some of the much-criticised Vodafone 360 apps.
This isn’t an over-the-air update – Sony Ericsson Android upgrades are coordinated through the company’s PC Companion syncing tool, so once the notification message has arrived you’ll be needing to connect your X10 Mini or Mini Pro to a PC to download and install the 2.1 OS.

INQ’s Android phone is an interesting “boutique” piece of hardware, packed with unique interface customisations that go far beyond the headline Facebook integration. We like it a lot.

Its aPple calling the shots, not Vodafone, Orange or whoever.
